i cannot express enough how often this occurs in this community, and society in general. i've been watching jammy's photography since she joined deviantart; i havent commented on all of it, but ive seen it, and she is extremely talented. as is my girlfriend, who on here goes by the username "utro". both these women and countless others have immense talent, but they are measured solely by their nudes aside from the few who very recognizably devote themselves to the whole art of the individual. yes, jammy's photo was wonderful. so are the nudes that my girlfriend has taken. but it saddens me when photos as great or even better receive a tenth of the attention. i'm personally fairly sensitive to the objectification of women in a society that pretends to be making fast progress in equality, and things like this on an art site, of all places you'd expect to find intelligent and open-minded people... just aggravates me.

anyway, not sure why im telling you, but... i agree.
